The Reinhardt 50th Wedding Anniversary

I recently found these photos and knew who the people were but not the context or occasion.  After some thought and verification of facts I am confident that the occasion is the 50th Anniversary of Honora Glasheen Reinhardt (1889-1974) and William C Reinhardt (1893-1974).  The Couple is pictured above. They were married on January 3, 1924, and January 1974 would have been their 50th Anniversary.  This event would have been planned by their daughter Norine Janet Reinhardt.  I do vaguely remember her stopping by our house and sharing details of the preparations with my mother. I later remember comments that it was good they celebrated when they did as both Honora and William would pass away later that year.  There aren’t any photos of Janet Main their daughter as she was the photographer.

Guests included Perry Main: (Janet Reinhardt Main’s husband, and in the foreground Katherine (Kay) Glasheen Elkenburgh. She is Honora’s youngest sister. In the background are John and Joanne Brownson.
