Agnes McCauley (1883-1957) married James Kelly on February 3, 1926, in St. Micheals church in Enniskillen, Northern Ireland. Archdeacon John Tierny P.P. V.G. performed the ceremony. Agnes married at the age of 42.  It is good to see she found a degree of happiness in her later life.  Her mother Anne Kerron would still have been alive at that time, as Anne Kerron McCauley passed away in August 1928.  Below I included two photos of St. Micheals church in Enniskillen as it appears today.

While, I don’t have any correlating facts, I want to suggest that Agnes was quite a successful businesswoman.  We already know she had purchased a house that she used as a rental along Henry Street.   That house also had an area for a shop.  Agnes’s professions of Dressmaker and Milner are noted both in Irish censes and travel manifests.  After her passing in 1957, her estate went through probate.   The record of the probate is below.  Agnes left and estate worth 4,821 pounds, which translates into today’s dollars the amount of approximately $181,304.  She also made provisions for Bernard McCauley (III) to receive the amount of 220 pounds, which in today’s dollars is about $8,000.00.  I also attached that letter below.  I am not sure who Edward or Corrandus is in the letter.  Probably a miscommunication.
