The image above is cropped from the 1915 New York censes and it shows the Carraher and McCauley families living in the same building at 1118 Washington Street in the Bronx, NY.  James Carraher is the head of the household along with wife Susan McCauley Carraher and at the time four of their eventual six boys: Frank, James, Ignatius, and Gerald. There are also two boarders, John Cahill and James’s brother, Patrick Carraher.

The McCauley Family consists of Bernard (II), his wife Susan and their two sons, Bernard (III) and Thomas.
