The Children of Anne Carron (1847-1928) and Bernard McCauley (1846-1902).

Together they had ten children.  There will be an initial post on each of them with subsequent posts to follow over time.

Thomas McCauley

(1888 – ? )

Thomas McCauley was the tenth child born to Bernard (I) and Ann Kerrin on May 15, 1888.  He was listed on the 1901 Irish Censes as living on New Tate Road and his occupation is that of a coachman at the age of 12.  According to notes from Bernard McCauley (IV), Thomas enlisted in WWI and while in service, met a nurse whose name was Elsie. After the war, they married and settled in England.  In the 1950’s Aunt Ellen travelled to England.  Could she have gone to visit Thomas?  At this point he is the least known to me, but there are more clues to follow through military records and searches through public records in the United Kingdom.

Below is the Birth record for Thomas McCauley.
